Last week’s study tip…mother sends email of real, live results for her high schooler

My newsletter subscribers (aka you!) are the best. THE BEST.

Want to see the definition of immediate results? Well it happened last week.

At the end I said the following:

If, after reading this, you convince your high schooler to try the 50/10 tactic, snap a photo of them completing the challenge. Email the photo to me and I’ll gift you the following, should you be interested:
  • I’ll mail one of Cal Newport’s books of your choosing to your house free of charge, they’re on me, just write to me and tell me which one you want
The 50/10 method in action! (And props to Amy for the hidden but not-so-hidden stairwell photo…can’t be distracting those dedicated students while they’re in a deep-work session, of course.)

Props to you, Amy, for taking this lesson back to not just your high schooler…but others as well…and seeing it immediately implemented. (And thanks for giving me permission to share with this community).
Do you think your high schooler could benefit from a solid foundation like Amy’s has? One that starts with real, tangible high school study habits…and eventually transitions to ultra-organized, streamlined, college planning? If so, feel free to connect with me here and we’ll talk about your specific situation.

Not quite ready to meet? No worries. Feel free to learn from other families who were in your shoes.

Happy studying, APUSH group!
